Kilimanjaro Marathon

Situated in Tanzania at an incredible 5895 metres, this is Africa’s highest mountain and the highest free standing mountain in the World. An icon in Africa, this mountain is one of the sights every person should see and most definitely a marathon to be remembered for a lifetime. Both marathon & half marathon start from the town of Moshi, Tanzania. Along the route pass many excited and enthusiastic locals, through small holder farms, villages, banana & coffee plantations and of course the sheer presence of Kilimanjaro dominates the entire region.

Event Information

Qualifying and Cut-Off Times
There is no qualifying time for the Kilimanjaro marathon. There is a cut off time of 6 hours for the marathon.
 
Aid Stations
There will be present throughout the race course.

Weather
The temperature in March is likely to be around 20-25 degrees celsius.
